We love both the North and the South Island, but we’ve found that some riders prefer the less populated and more rural South Island and prefer to spend more time riding the South Island and forego the ferry crossing to the north. Our 16-day Bottoms Up Tour affords the opportunity to delve into the attractions of the South Island much more thoroughly than other tours.
Our New Zealand Adventures afford an ideal opportunity for riders to include non-riding companions in their vacation plans. All of our tours include the use of a large, comfortable support vehicle to accommodate non-riding companions. Just register your guest as a passenger and let us know that you’d like us to reserve a seat in the support vehicle. Passengers won’t miss any of the attractions of the Adventure.
You’ll experience all of the major South Island attractions, from the Queen Charlotte Drive in the north (arguably one of the most scenic motorcycling roads in the world) to the quaint little village of Bluff at the south end of the island – and everything in between.
In addition to great riding and stunning landscapes, the quality of the meals and lodging are in keeping with the high standards that have become an integral part of all Ayres Adventures. Accommodations range from comfortable, middle class hotels to luxury accommodations and “boutique” establishments that are off the usual tourist path. |
